We asked and you’ve spoken. You wanted an advertising campaign that would help consumers understand the value of REALTORS® and the high standards of professionalism that being a member of OREA brings.
Launched two weeks ago, the new we do the homework™ campaign includes a microsite at wedothehomework.ca that gives consumers quick and easy to consume information on working with a REALTOR® and what they can expect during the buying and selling process. In addition the site is fully accessible on mobile devices and social media buttons incorporated throughout make it easy to share on Twitter and Facebook or through email.
In addition billboard ads can be seen throughout Ontario and a series of three different television ads are appearing on a variety of stations. The billboard ads highlight the benefits of using a REALTOR® over searching for a new home online, while the commercials cover the buying and selling process and the unique things a REALTOR® can help with by doing the homework for you.
Alongside of the advertising campaign, a media relations initiative has worked with well known TV personality and REALTOR® Sandra Rinomato to test the public’s knowledge of what it takes to be a REALTOR®. The Are You Smarter than a REALTOR® segment on various news programs has Sandra asking multiple choice questions to hosts to demonstrate that you need a REALTOR® to help you navigate the waters of the real estate market.
We hope that you will help us spread the message about how we do the homework™ by sharing the commercials, microsite and blog posts and joining in the conversation on Twitter and Facebook using the hashtag #wedothehomework.
