Your membership dues notice arrives, you pay the bill and you’re in good standing as an OREA member for another year. But do you ever wonder what that $110 you pay to OREA gets used for?
Many things.
Practical things like Standard Forms – something you use daily — or free webinars about how to use social media to grow your business or consumer brochures to give to clients.
Powerful things like advocacy at Queen’s Park on some tough issues including Municipal Land Transfer Tax, Personal Real Estate Corporations, Marijuana Grow Op Registry or E-signatures.
Valuable things like a mass media advertising and public relations campaign to promote REALTOR® value to consumers, a legal service to help members navigate the RECO complaints process or savings on a variety of products and services through our affinity partners.
Knowledgeable things like the practical, useful and current industry and market information in the monthly REALTOR® EDGE newsletter and e-EDGE, the wealth of information about real estate issues on OREApedia or quality online continuing education courses to build your skills and expertise.
When you look at everything you get for your OREA membership dues dollar, you have to admit it is serious “bang for the buck”.
