Well it is that time again! You got it…golf season!!
Part of my duties as OREA president include accepting invitations to get out and meet the membership and visit different real estate boards and associations. During the summer months I get invited to many golf tournaments. Some of which I can attend and some which my schedule simply does not allow. However, I make the greatest of effort because it is so important to get out there and mingle with the members of OREA!! I get to meet board staff and Directors and talk to the members one on one.
It is an amazing opportunity and I want to thank all the wonderful people I have met and for their most gracious hospitality!!
It is heart warming to see how much REALTORS® really do care! Most of these events I attend are major fundraising events for these boards and associations. They do great work and give a lot back to their communities.
Just a reminder if you are holding a fundraising event and have raised funds for charity be sure to report those numbers to the REALTORS Care Foundation. Collectively we can make a difference in the lives of all Ontarians!!
