2012 was an amazing year and kick off of the OREA Young Professionals Network. We grew quickly and currently have over 1000 members on our Facebook Page.
All of our events across the province were a huge success and well attended. None of these events could have happened without the volunteers that took time to host round table discussions in their areas, without the input and assistance of our dedicated committee members, and of course without the help of our amazing staff at OREA.
I’d personally like to take this opportunity to thank our 2012 Vice Chair, Jennifer Aunger, our staff liaison Natasha Lemire Blair and of course the entire 2012 committee. Thank you for your hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm over the past year. You have all helped grow YPN to where it is today. Together, we can continue to prepare new and young REALTORS® for their careers and help grow our next generation of leaders.
As the new year at OREA begins, I would like to introduce you to your new YPN Chair, Anna Vozza. Active in the real estate profession for 12 years, Anna is a salesperson with Bob Pedler Real Estate Ltd., Brokerage, and a member of the Windsor-Essex County Association of REALTORS®, where she last served as past-president, also appearing on several of the board’s committees. At OREA, Anna has served as a member of the leadership development committee and most recently, chaired the OREA standard forms and social media committees. Anna is currently the Western Ontario Area Director on the OREA Board, and was one of our 2012 OREA Director members on last year’s committee.
If any of you know Anna, you know that she is a kind, loving and energtic REALTOR® who would do anything for anyone and anything for the betterment of organized real estate. I am happy to call Anna my friend and I know each of you will embrace her as your own friend and leader at OREA YPN.
Anna will be available to assist you with the launch of your own local networks, will be travelling the province to area events throughout the year and will guide us in some new and exciting projects we have planned for 2013.
