- Amie Ferris
Amie Ferris is a third generation REALTOR® born and raised in Port Dover, Ontario. At the age of 25, Amie joined her mother and grandfather in the real estate industry in 2007 where she met her now husband and REALTOR®, Ray Ferris. In 2011, Amie and Ray opened their own Real Estate Company in Port Rowan, Ontario – Erie’s Edge Real Estate Ltd. Real Estate is Amie’s passion and only business interest. As a young REALTOR® moving up through organized real estate she understands the needs for a group such as the OREA YPN to get young REALTORS® involved in the leadership roles at the local, provincial and national levels of real estate and provide them with mentorship from current and past organized real estate represenatives. Amie has been involved in organized real estate since the beginning of her career. She became a member of organized real estate in 2008 as a committee member, 2009 as a committee chair and as a Director of her local board in 2010. She is currently the President of the Simcoe and District Real Estate Board.

Exposed to the world of real estate since birth, Jenn knew at the age of seven that she too would become a REALTOR® and work to help buyers and sellers find their way in the real estate market. With a background in Public Relations and Communications, Jenn loves to write and market her business and will use these tools to keep other young professionals up to date through this blog. Born and Raised in Smiths Falls which she still calls home with her one year old daughter, husband and lovable dog and cat, Jenn is excited to be the vice-chair on the Young Professionals Network where we will all have a chance to meet others that choose and love to be a REALTOR®.
Kris has a passion for educating and investing in real estate. It was a natural fit to combine these and pursue a job as a Realtor and now loves working for Century21 First Canadian in London, Ontario. He purchased 2 rental properties by the age of 27 and hopes to continue down that path.
Kris worked as an IT manager for 10 years and takes that knowledge and now works with leading edge technology in the real estate industry. He also sits on the Filogix board for the London St. Thomas Association of Realtors to help make the programs Realtors work with more efficient.
Kris is also very passionate about staying active and living life to the fullest! He continues to ski, snowboard, play hockey, golf, tennis, and pretty much any sport that comes his way. Most recently he has started scuba diving, and looks forward to the new adventures life has to offer!

- Ayn MacDonald
Ted Davis joined Avison Young Commercial Real Estate in 2010 starting at their Southwestern Ontario Office. This brokerage specializes in the sale and lease of commercial properties throughout Southwestern Ontario with offices based in Guelph and London.
Ted started his career in commercial real estate in 2004 and has since been involved in commercial transactions exceeding a value of $245 million. Mr Davis has been chosen to attend numerous international real estate programs, as well as donated his time with speaking engagements and publications for a number of business groups and Universities.
Ted is looking forward to participating in OREA’s YPN and making it successful.

Cosette is new in the real estate world. Her mandate is to provide excellent service to her clients. She is dedicated and has always been passionate about real estate. She is very dynamic and engaging. Cosette recently graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor in Commerce, major in Management. While at University, she always kept herself occupied learning about both the Public and Private sectors. She has also been working with her parents family owned business from a very young age. Cosette is trilingual; fluent in Arabic, French and English. She loves to interact with people and loves working with The Usher Group Inc. Cosette is devoted to the real estate industry and is looking forward to bringing that same devotion to OREA’s YPN.

As a member of the OREA Young Professionals Network Advisory Council, Brian is eager to spread his passion and enthusiasm for Real Estate. Having begun his career in 2007, at the age of 21, he brings a blend of youth and experience. A resident of Kitchener-Waterloo his entire life, he holds great pride in what the region offers. Brian is an active volunteer with the Kitchener-Waterloo Association of Realtors, having served on the MLS Services, Program and Public Relations committees as well as on several different task forces. He is a graduate of Ryerson University’s Journalism program. His interests include sports, reading, and traveling.

Sarah is a third generation Real Estate Broker who followed in the footsteps of her family dating back to 1958. She has 6 licensed years of experience in the real estate industry and a lifetime of real estate exposure. Sarah’s outgoing personality and extensive knowledge of the Ottawa Real Estate market makes her a valuable asset. Sarah comes from a small town just outside of Ottawa where she grew up with two sisters, family pets, & a local family-owned real estate business. She relocated to Ottawa 10 years ago where she has built a successful career in Real Estate focusing on home buyers & investors. When Sarah isn’t practicing Real Estate, she likes to volunteer at the Ottawa Humane Society, spend time with her family, travel, and support local businesses.

Being the youngest Realtor in his market when Jay started his career in 1996 many felt he was in over his head. 16 years later he has not only proven to be a survivor but someone with goals and dreams to emulate. Year after year Jay has been the recipient of many High Volume Awards as well as being recognized for his dedicated service of giving back to the Profession he loves. As a past Board of Director for the Real Estate Board he was collectively responsible for changing the direction in which business practices are carried out on a daily basis.

After living and working in the computer technology industry in California for over 8 years, Liza returned home to Kingston in 2005 to join her mother (Sue Tallen) in the real estate business. Liza thoroughly enjoys helping people achieve their dreams of home ownership or investing. Liza is currently serving as a Director on her local Real Estate board (KAREA). When not working Liza can be found all around the beautiful city of Kingston volunteering with big brothers big sisters, and many other local charities and events.
