New Minister for REBBA, 2002 in McGuinty Cabinet

Premier Dalton McGuinty has announced a new, smaller cabinet for the 41st session of the Ontario Legislature. The Premier has appointed Margarett Best (Scarborough–Guildwood) as Minister of Consumer Services responsible for the Real Estate and Business Brokers Act (REBBA), 2002.

Reducing the size of the provincial cabinet from 28 to 22 Ministers, Dwight Duncan (Windsor–Tecumseth) will stay as Minister of Finance and Deborah Matthew (London North Centre) will stay as Minister of Health.

Other notable appointments include former Minister of Consumer Services, John Gerretsen (Kingston and the Islands) to the Attorney General’s office, Brad Duguid (Scarborough Centre) as the Minister of Economic Development and Trade and Christopher Bentley (London West) as Minister of Energy.
