This May, the Ontario Progressive Conservative (PC) Party will be choosing their new leader. This week we profile PC leadership hopeful Patrick Brown.
Currently, Mr. Brown represents the riding of Barrie in the House of Commons. He has held this riding since 2006. As an Member of Parliament (MP), he has held numerous roles including member of the Standing Committee on Health, the Neurological Disorders Subcommittee, the Scrutiny of Acts and Regulations Committee, the Juvenile Diabetes All Party Caucus and the Co-Chair of the Malaria Caucus. He is also the Chair for the Central Ontario Caucus. Before becoming an MP, Mr. Brown proudly served as a member of Barrie’s city council.
Before embarking on his political career, Mr. Brown practiced law in Barrie.
