Group sharing ideas around a table

As REALTORS®, you are acutely aware of your clients’ needs in your local real estate market. As professionals, you keep on top of trends and changes in our industry. Who better to inform the provincial real estate regulator on trends in real estate and your community than you?

The Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO) is seeking candidates interested in serving on the Board of Directors. Three Industry Directors will be elected – one in each of the three regions of Ontario as established by RECO. Directors will serve a three-year term.

The RECO Board of Directors meets approximately six times a year. As a Director, your duties include chairing or serving on a RECO committee or taskforce and attending conferences on RECO’s behalf.

RECO is the delegated administrative authority responsible for administering the Real Estate and Business Brokers Act, 2002 (REBBA) and associated regulations on behalf of the Government of Ontario and protecting the public interest through a fair and informed marketplace.

The nomination deadline is April 1st, 2015.
