On July 4th 2012, I along with my fellow REALTORS® revved up our engines and ventured on our Motorcycle Ride for Charity for the REALTORS Care Foundation.
This year’s ride was a 1 day event visiting real estate boards throughout the southern parts of Ontario to raise funds and awareness on how REALTORS® care and give back to their communities through various charities.
I am proud to have participated in this ride with my friends and REALTORS®, and through the pledges of our riders and donations from our boards we were able to raise over $20,000 and 100% of the proceeds from the RIDE benefit REALTORS Care Foundation which supports shelter related causes in your community.
Riders along with supporting OREA staff gathered at the OREA office between 8-9am for our kick off.
From OREA we traveled to the Guelph & District Association of REALTORS®, where we were welcomed with open arms and a generous donation to the foundation.
We departed Guelph and headed off to the Kitchener-Waterloo Association of REALTORS® where we were kindly given a bbq and were able to take a rest and enjoy great company.
We couldn’t have asked for a better lunch and a great way to start our last leg of the journey to Niagara Falls.
Once again I’d like to thank the riders who participated, boards and other participating individuals…it couldn’t have happened without you!
