Keep your technology skills sharp by attending one or more in a series of events offered in the coming months. OREA’s popular Emerge: Moving You Forward with the Tools for Tomorrow will return this summer to help develop skills and knowledge on emerging tools and technologies and how they work within the real estate industry.
This year’s series will offer more chances for those in the business to stay up-to-date on the new trends and in a rapidly changing environment. Geared towards all those currently working in the real estate industry,regardless of experience, the conferences will provide an opportunity to connect with industry peers as they share their best practices.
Topics will include: Developing an online strategy; building and maintaining your database; CRM-driven business growth; working the cloud; LinkedIn as a strategic connecting tool; smile, you’re on camera; and maximizing the effectiveness of digital advertising.
Six regional Emerge conferences are planned, starting in June 2014. Each of OREA’s provincial areas will host an Emerge event, including North-eastern, Eastern, Central, Northern, Western, and Southern Ontario. Dates and locations are as follows:
Friday, June 20 – Thunder Bay (Victoria Inn)
Monday, September 8 – Muskoka (Deerhurst Resort)
Thursday, September 25 – Markham (Hilton Suites)
Thursday, October 9 – St. Catharines (Holiday Inn & Suites Conference Centre)
Wednesday, October 29 – London (Best Western Lamplighter Inn & conference Centre)
Thursday, November 13 – Kanata (Holiday Inn & Suites).
All events are open to all members. You can save by registering early — at least three weeks before the event. Early bird registration is $59 plus tax for OREA members and $89 plus tax for non-members. Regular prices are $79 plus tax for OREA members and $109 plus tax for non-members.
