The OREA Centre for Leadership Development launches a new way to participate in the popular Leadership 200 and Leadership 300 courses. Beginning January 2012, Leadership 200 and Leadership 300 will be offered in e-Workshop format. This newly developed format simply requires a speaker phone and internet connection. Members can now gather in small groups at their local association office or with neighbouring boards and participate in the course via the internet.
During the Centre’s successful pilot sessions last summer, this method confirmed the saving of travel time and expenses and the OREA Centre for Leadership Development has transferred those cost savings to members by charging only $75 plus HST in comparison to the $100 plus HST of the traditional workshop.
Participants of the pilots from the Chatham Real Estate Board http://boards.mls.ca/chatham/ and Timmins Real Estate Board http://boards.mls.ca/timmins/ confirmed the sessions were just as interactive as the traditional workshop format and contained the same opportunity for group discussions.
