I’ve had many different careers/jobs since I was 17 years old. I’ve been a TV reporter, Aerobics instructor, Radio Producer, movie/tv extra and even a clown! Yes- a clown. No comment.
I first got the real estate bug while I was 24 years old and working as a TV reporter for CFPL London, now CTV2. I was visiting Toronto and purchased a pre-construction condo. I flipped it a few years later. This started my curiosity in real estate.
A few years later, while working as a TV reporter for CHCH News Channel 11, I had the opportunity to host a real estate show on Global. That lasted just over a year before I returned to CHCH News. While working as a reporter, I found myself always pitching real estate story ideas. I also met the Rocca Sisters with Royal LePage while covering real estate stories. It made me realize that I really enjoyed Real Estate and should consider it as a career.
I looked into getting my licence –took some time off CHCH- and the rest is history. Three years later I still report at CHCH News occasionally as a fill in reporter, but work full time as a Buyer Associate for the Rocca Sisters. I love it!
